CHOLAR DAL NARKEL DIYE

Cholar dal is dish close to the heart of almost every bengali. It is a chana dal preparation with coconut.

Ingredients:-

Channa Dal
350
gm
Turmeric  powder

gm
Salt                           
10
gm
Sugar                                
10
gm
Coconut diced finely
100
gm
Fennel powder
5
gm
Ghee
50
gm
Cumin
20
gm
 


Method :-
 

Wash and soak the dal for ten minutes.
Boil the dal, add turmeric and salt while boiling.
Temper the dal with ghee, fennel powder, cumin and coconut.
Add sugar and check the seasoning.
